An indigo cloth with kilim bands hangs over a courtyard photograph and unrolls when the page opens; the booking strip weaves itself across below it. Sample hotel: Casa Anil, eleven rooms in an old indigo dyer's house in the (fictional) hill town of Velmora.

index.html: the cloth hero with a booking strip (arrival, nights, guests), intro with house facts, rooms as an index with a large photograph that changes as you choose (with a two or four guest switch), the house in three photographs at three depths, a pinned "day here" where the sun crosses an arc from 07:30 to the lanterns at night, breakfast menu with dotted leaders, a rates table with this month's season marked, a drawn map.rooms.html: every room with photograph, bed, size, view and price, and a request form with its states (missing date or email, a room too small for the party, the two-night rule in high season, a held request with a total). The home page's strip fills it in through the address.404.html: "This door opens onto a wall".- Light (day) and dark (lamp-lit night) themes, phone to desktop, reduced motion respected, keyboard friendly.
